Radio Operation

Does anyone remember how to use a Sony XR-3500MK2 radio?

I have tried to get some radio stations that I know are powerful but using  manual or auto seed I cant even find a 50,000 watt station that is less than 50 miles away.  :help:

In going back over that manual it talks about selecting a band first and seek a station??

Does that mean that AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, and FM3 each one has a partial frequency range for just that band?

Or is there another trick to it, I have a lot of other things to replace before I do the radio.

I have the same radio and mine doesn't work either.

My question is which speaker does the radio use?  The bose ? or a separate speaker?

Probably separate, look in the overhead above dash. Should be one on each side,  and sometimes two more under cabinets back toward kitchen

That's a good radio. Check the antenna and cable. Read the user manual here: Sony Stereo Receiver XR-3500MK2 User Guide | ManualsOnline.com

Stock front speakers are poor. Cheap fix.

Yes, it has a chip in it so only receives Spanish. Sometimes Catalan. ;)
