Starter relay problems

I have a 1995 SE 300 cat 3176...batteries check out ok but, when I attempt to start it turns over and then something pops on the passenger side electrical panel "pops" and then the starter stops cranking any ideas....

The "pop" could be a resettable breaker tripping.  If so, first thing to do is check battery connections.

Craig,

Is this the breakers in the dash you are talking about?

If so you may have the ignition switch breaker tripping. It is an auto reset type breaker.  If this is what you hear you could have the breaker going bad or you may have an ignition switch going bad causing the breaker to trip. Its been a long time since I looked at a '95 but I think that the breaker is either #28 or 29. Seems like one is the cigarette lighter and the other is for the ignition switch. If you have your electrical prints close you can make sure of the breaker number.

Just saw that you have a U300 GV and there breakers are laid out different than in the Unicoaches but I think you still have an ignition switch breaker.

One other thought:  Will the engine crank and run from the remote start switch?
