House Battery Replacement Issues

On the eve of commencing my battery project, replacing my six totally-dead Gel Techs, with Trojan T-105s, it occured to me that there could be electrical issues associated with the hooking up of the six 6vdc batts, i.e., during the connection process, as connections are completed and electricity begins to flow from these new batteries. Does anyone have any thoughts, insights or words of caution relative to this procedure?

Any help will be appreciated. This is the final step of a nine-month project to restore every major system on my coach, and I'd hate to screw it up or smoke my electrical system at this late date.

Hook the ground up last after making the 3 banks of 12 volts. then charge them up.

Chuck, thanks.

I had a major meltdown one time from mis-identifying the Ground post on my class C MH at night. This would be much worse, so I will leave the ground cable for last after getting everything else hooked up in accordance with my diagram and photos of the existing installation.

Many thanks again.
