false propane alarm

Yes.....I tried to search past topics. I may not be listing the proper wording, which happens often. The propane alarm at the bottom of the bathroom vanity starts blinking red and green and goes off, occasionally, at the same time....6 am . It sure gets us up. I press the button, and we are good until the next time. Any suggestions?? Does NOT happen everyday, but has happened at least three times this past week.

When was the last time it was replaced? They don't last that long, in my experience.

We find with 12-volt powered detectors, that if the 12-volt wire is switched off, then back on, a hard-reset will put the old detector back  in service.  We have a small switch next to each detector.
But one should also have a 2nd back-up for all types of detectors, to not just count on one propane, smoke, CO detector for a stick home or RV.

When they age out they will let you reset them a certain number of times and then they will just beep and you will not be able to reset it.

I checked mine when I got the coach home and found the dates were all from 96 and 97.  you may have to take them out and the date might be on the back side.
