A/C condensor fan keeps cycling

Did a search and came up with this old post, nothing newer. When I was checking out my A/C today I noticed the condenser fan kept cycling. I read the schematic and it is not hooked to the pressure switches, only a switch at the dash and relay and circuit breaker. I turned the engine off and just powered the fan and it still cycled. I am trying to locate the circuit breaker in the post below to continue trouble shooting. Has anyone with my year or similar dealt with this.

Symptom: Trans drops out of D; Cause: Dash AC condensor fan motor shorted

Condenser fan motor relay and breaker are on isolator panel.  Other relay and breaker on that panel, power the fan belt driven compressor clutch.

Condenser fan is connected to a high pressure fan switch. Thats  what turns fan on. Mine is located in the high pressure switch up by condenser 4 wires off it. The fan is supposed to cycle.

Barry's right, at least on our coach year/model, the relays and ckt breakers are located on the isolator panel, under bed in engine compartment.  The attached print may help to explain.  Look for the dashed lines located near the lower center of print.

My schematic shows it not going to any pressure switches, and it is cycling with the engine off and compressor not running.

My schematic shows the ac dash switch activates a relay that gets its power from my auxiliary start solenoid and from the relay through a circuit breaker to the fan. Because the fan wires go into a loom and I can't find the auxiliary start solenoid or which relays on the isolator panel are for the fan I am going to have to unhook and eliminate circuits until I find the right one. I was hoping someone had run into this since the 5 year old post.

What could be happening is you have a faulty pressure switch when the coach sets the pressure builds up in the high side turns the fan on which cools it which lowers the pressure pan cuts off and it is continuing to complete the cycle look at the high side line up around the condenser and see if there's a pressure switch with 4 wires coming off of it somewhere in that line

Could be tripping the circuit breaker, then when it cools off, it re-activates.  Check for power in and out when this happens.

That is what it is doing, I am trying to find the circuit breaker. I have a call in to Foretravel to try to locate it to see if the CB is weak or the fan is drawing too much power. The link I posted on my first post shows this problem happened 5 years ago to more than one person.

Solved, new condenser fan doesn't cycle and high side pressure came down.

Craneman, the problem was the fan itself?

Yes the fan motor was drawing too many amps. Took the motor apart, it was toast.

Also check and see if your ECm is on the same breaker on the isolator wall. Mine was and when the fan drew too many amps my engine shutdown. Split it into two and replaced the fan at the same time.

Mine must not be, as the fan was shutting off and the engine ran fine. It has been this way for some time and the only way I found out it was cycling was the high side for the A/C was too high.
