DKD Onan generator
I tried to order new hoses, belt and filter online for this 88 model. Part deliveries were going to be spread over a two week period. Instead I went down to the local auto parts store(with old parts in hand) and found hoses that would work after a some trimming, oil,air filter and also a fan belt. But I am having problems finding anything about a cross reference replacement thermostat ( 185-2235) and fuel filter (149-1914-04) the element has the bowl under it. Looked at a WIX 33426-but I think it does away with the bowl, and a FS1233 which looks like it uses the bowl. Anyone have any info on this antique?
Here is what I used. I spent about half what the Onan parts were and had I known the number I would have gotten them online.
185-2090 air filter=WIX 46270
185-2275 belt=Gates 7355
185-2256 top hose=Used Gates 21517 trimmed to fit, actually saw another with only 1-90 bend
185-2278 lower hose=Gates 22038 trimmed to fit, two of these can be used for both lower hoses, store only had 1, see next item
185-2276 lower hose=Dayco 71651 trimmed to fit, two of these can be used for both lower hoses
185-2300 small diameter hose top=Gates 18030 trimmed to fit
185-2123 oil filter=WIX 51334
