Tire dealer in Nacog for coach

Who is the preferred tire dealer in or near Nacogdoches?
I'll be at FOT in a couple weeks and want to price tires before I get there.
Thanks.

If an FMCA member, go on the FMCA website to price both Michelin and Continental tires. If not a member, and you need tires, probably worth joining.  PM me if you want info on joining.

Herman Power is the Michelin dealer and does work with the FMCA Fleet discount program.

2 months ago, we got new Uniroyal RS20 275/80R22.5 LRH tires, set of 6, installed at Herman Power Tire in NAC.  So far, they seem to be just fine.  We took a run around Loop 224 to check the balance, and they ran smooth as silk.  I had all 6 tires spin balanced, and since we already had Centramatics, I did not expect any problem.  Steering felt slightly less precise compared to our 8-year-old Michelins, which only had roughly half as much tread thickness as the new tires - may partly explain the difference.  Ride felt slightly better - softer and less jarring when running on rough or uneven pavement and crossing expansion strips.

I am totally satisfied at this point with our decision to buy the Uniroyals.

Using the tire pressure chart posted by Bob and Faith Rozek (Thank You) I determined our new Uniroyals could be set at 85 psi (cold) and support our coach's weight.  I added 5 psi to that number for extra insurance, and told the tire guy to set them at 90 psi all the way around.  We have been running that pressure since then and they feel and ride great.

Michelin, will run close to $700.00 each with FMCA  discount.  That includes, balance, valve stems, tax and of course mounting.  My old tires were 5 years old and in good shape, so they gave me credit for the old tires and I only paid for the tires only. About $600.00 it came to. Herman Power is a good Co. to work with.
