Directv with in motion antenna

With Directv shutting down SD channels in 2019, what are those that have Directv and an In Motion Antenna planning on doing?  Installing stationary antenna?  Switching to Dish Network? Other?

You can add an ATT Homebase or Nighthawk Internet device to your ATT Unlimited account and get DirecTV Now and stream anywhere, anytime without using any data from your plan.  You will always find a few spots with marginal cell coverage but not many these days.  When you are home you can use it there too.

With an iPhone, ATT account, Directv Now account, and Iphone lightning adapter, one can stream to a tv. The biggest drawback is that the iPhone has to be connected to the tv with an HDMI cable. The lightning adapter is about $50. There is no date usage so an ATT hotspot plan with as little as 3Gs will work.

I think that all SD in-motion RV antennas will still work, but maybe an old SD receiver may not work, but I assume you have a modern (maybe HR24?) receiver, so you will be ok.

In-motion antennas will always be a big business.

Lots of confusion on what is going away:

With all the new crap that comes available something new every week I get tempted to just go to wallmart movie ben out in the middle of the isle and dig thru for another $ 3,84 cent movie that is worth at best a dime.. Or just look at the better half or whatever. I am no good at the new gadget that come along every other day. Not that stupid or at least I hope, really just have no interest in gadgets with wires or wireless when one push of a button the size of a pin head that I can't see needs pushing to see the flippen tv. Really good that you folks with knowledge and interest in new technology pass it on to people, that's not my rant.. I just want to turn on the flippen tv and and see a few minutes of the news and weather and maybe a few minutes of Tom Selleck riding a horse and busting a bandit in the mouth. I have a new in motion sattelite and it would be good if I could get it up and running, might or might not. Just when you catch on to how to turn on the latest tv you have something comes along to replace my obsolete rig..Thanks for allowing my rant IF my post stays up.

Dumped Direct tv 2 years ago overthe SD issue. Went with Dish mobile pay as you go and Tailgater portable Dish, about 400.00 for all. Funny how all this stuff lasts 2-3 years then no workie right.  IMHO its all a game to get in your pocket, same with all the cell phone stuff, but what you going to do.
