1985 36' Travco High beam Switch

The High Beam Switch on my Coach Gets hot when I turn them on... I also have a back up chime that only works intermittently, and a tank indicator panel that only lights up sometimes, and an aftermarket stereo that randomly turns off of its own will. I am guessing that I have some wiring issues, does anybody have access to a wiring diagram or schematic for this year/model? I have tried Foretravel and they don't seem to be able to help me...

Welcome aboard, can't help much with the wiring diagram. When it comes to electrical issues I usually start with the ground and ground wires as these are often the culprit and easy to check.

What chassis do you have? If you put your model number along with your signature then we will be better able to help you.

Travco used the oshkosh v917 ored chassis same as foretravel according to beamalarm website. Do you have the oshkosh v917 chassis might be on a plate under the driver's side window. I have an drawing no date on it, bad news is it's a revision 0. So it might be a whole new wiring plan or maybe they got it right the first time. Should be close though to avoid totaly retraining installers. Maybe somebody else with an earlier coach can chime in. You posted in the wrong category and this thread will probably be moved. No big deal. BUT you have not posted any pics of the inside or outside of your coach, and I'm pretty sure that's a SIN.

It could also be on a Roadmaster chassis with a 454 Chevrolet engine and not sure if it could be on a strictly Chevrolet chassis.
