Air Conditioning

Helped a friend rebuild his engine driven A/C. We did flush the system and install all new parts. We put about 5 Lbs of 134 in. Had an OAT of 91 degs with 32/272 press. Got 55 degs out of the evap. Is that  the best it can do? And, does anyone make a scoop to go on the outside of the RV for the condenser ? Thanks

I had to lower my pressures from the recommended R-134a to get 40 deg. out of the registers at 80 deg. ambient. I used a thermometer in the register to set pressures.

Me too. My A/C works great but has a leak so I have to replenish it from time to time. I just use a cheapo low side gauge and run it just up to the green and it blows 40 - nice and cold.
