Removing four button duotherm thermostat cover

Going to work on the balky switches today. What is the best way to get cover off? Don't want to break it, seems very well secured. Need specific help. From top, bottom, pry between base and top cover, etc.  Thanks

From the bottom of the cover, look for the tab, and pry open with a small screw driver.
