Our 'sniffer' has gone off when I spilled some whiskey and had to be re-set. Ours is  below the kitchen sink on the right bottom extension where the drawers are. They do go bad, my files show it has been replaced twice, and again by me last year.  There is a fuse just behind the unit. Mite check for a propane leak, though; those units are sensitive!

Yup, check propane sensor.  The do have a finite life.  May be able to extend its life a little by using a hair dryer to warm it up/blow it out.

If the sensor it is AND it controls propane flow (solenoid at the propane tank), you will have no propane to stove/refrig when it is going off.

Thank you for replies. It was the propane senor. Switch was on, so turned it off. Does the switch have to be bumped to go off?

Do to go to a propane business to replace sensor?

Most will re-set only. Does yours have the light on and no 'scream' now? If so, you're back in business.  To shut it down, the 20 amp fuse has to be removed. Any good RV tech should be able to handle the replacement of the inside 'sniffer'.

Did the reset and all is good. Light was off because propane was turned off, thought I might of had a leak. Just getting familiar with the coach. So now I know all about this alarm. Thanks to all. Really busy day. Changed engine oil. Gen oil and coolant drained and replaced. Will be on the rd to Sun City West AZ in a few days. Will be stopping at 3 casinos along the way
Will beat the rain and snow by a bunch and that is good. Use to try and time it just before the snow or rain hit. Too hairy
