Foretravel Table Decorations featured in retirement party

Saturday, June 29, the church I have served for almost 26 years threw me a wonderful retirement party. I have been an ordained pastor of three Texas Presbyterian Churches for the past 37 years. The table decorations at the reception featured a cardboard cut out of our 1998 U-270. My wife will continue to work for another year, but my responsibilities end in two weeks. It's been a very rewarding career and calling, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to some weekends and the freedom to travel more.

We plan to go full time in about a year. We have sons and their families in Albuquerque and Portland, OR. Three grandchildren two years old and under suggests we will be headed west and shuttling slowly from Rocky Mountains to West Coast. Thus the importance of getting that retarder working this spring.

I want to thank the forum members for assistance. I could not keep our motor home going without your help, and even then I have my dark moments when I wonder, "What have I done, O Lord?" from Psalm 152 of the diesel pusher laments.

Hope to meet some of you in the campground in the next couple of years.

Congrats on you retirement!  While I'm a new Diesel Pusher operator I relate to the scripture and shall quote it when appropriate, it is much better than some of the things I've said in my dark moments of this steep learning curve! Best of luck on the new adventure!

Someone spent a lot of effort and did a good job. That's neat as can be. Enjoy your retirement.

Congratulations on your retirement pastor.  I did have one question, what happened to 151?

Psalm 151 is found in the Greek version of OT for those who love obscure facts, but not in Hebrew manuscripts.
