For something that only really needs to be looked at when your oil is changed this is a lot of work!
If you have a seal leaking, trust me You will see it long before you need to worry about hub oil level!
It makes a big mess! Jmo
I agree. How often do we check our rear end fluid. I had a bad seal once and I had fluid all over my tire. JMO as well.

Yep, leaking axle seals are obvious. Checked my front ones a year and a half ago when I had new front tires.

Kind of like this when you have a problem.  Had them replaced by a "highly recommended vendor" , not in Nac by the way, and obviously not torqued properly.
