Kudos to dinosaur circuit boards

P.O. had installed a Dometic fridge board in 2004 with part no. 3850415-01, On my 1996 295.
Recently I had no a.c. or l.p. fridge use.
I Mistakenly ordered dinosaur P'711 replacement
Board for the 1996 Dometic board 2931843-03.
Dinosaur telephone tech, named Guy, whose been in electronics since 1950''s talked me through changing 3 wires around today.
Excellent service from Guy and Dinosaur Electronics. Fired right up after plugging in a.c. cord and turned on 12v salesman switch.

They are awesome. American made. Never had one fail. Have sold maybe 20.Tech support is awesome. Even if it's someone else's board.

They are! I've used them for years; might as well, if you buy a new unit that has boards,  rip the 'factory' one's out and replace them with Dinosaurs!  ^.^d

I replaced my previous coach's Dometic board with a Dinosaur and it immediately solved a couple nagging problems. The Dinosaur tech support was great in helping me diagnose the problems. My current coach has a Norcold which is working great with the original board and I'm a firm believer in Murphy's Law so I'm sticking with what I have for now.

I replaced my Dometic 7832 circuit board with the Dinosaur P711, which smoked after circa four years. I hoped that the dinosaur board would fix the intermittent spontaneous turn off (fridge cooled off), however, replacing the eye brow board fixed that problem. When the dinosaur board smoked, and would not turn the cooling on, I reinstalled the original Dometic board which is still working 18 months later. The dinosaur board did support more temperature adjustments.
