Best Place to Get Lug Covers?

So far lost 2 if these on rear axle. Seem cheap plastic. Any better alternatives?

I don't have the source, but at every stop, tap on them to make sure all the way on.

And on ours, I have used some minor adhesive on the inside of all the lug nut covers to help them stay on with rough road travel.

Alcoa 33 MM lug nut covers. Try Amazon, when I get I get 10-12 at a time. I put a little dab of silicone caulk on them when I put them on helps them stay around, especially the ones with cracks where they screw on.

I have 39 steel nut covers which I assumed we're stainless due to there condition, after your post I inspected and two appear to be chrome plated steel and pitting, and only one is missing. Found only 3 that can be wiggled off by heavy hand. Online truck joint will probably have the good stuff. The ones I could get off did not pass the magnet test but some stainless is still magnetic. Hub covers we're stainless. Hope that helps.

Are they the screw on type? Can't tell from my phone.. if so I have a couple I think

It appears what I have are plastic. Even if they're screw on it's obvious they are challenged since all were replaced at MOT less than a year ago.  Would prefer metal (stainless) screw on.

I bought these from Amazon, same as what was on originally:
Amazon.com: Alcoa Hex Lug Nut Cover for Two-Piece Flange Nut (001851 10 Pack...

But I'd much prefer stainless.  Anybody tried the push-on type?

Not the"Best Place to Get Lug Covers", but the place to get the Best axle covers, IMHO.
T.Kane Enterprises - The Ulitmate Axle cover - Product Description
Pros: Easier to clean the wheels, quick remove and replace (after the initial install), clean uncluttered look, made out of quality stainless steel, durable.
Cons: Expensive (almost $700 when I bought them, as I recall), initial install requires remove a total of six lugs on each wheel (3 at a time) to install the brackets.
Below is a picture of the fronts. I don't have a decent picture of the rear, sorry... but the rears are easy to visualize if you look at the product shots on the link.
I am very happy with them. ^.^d

The cheapest place I have found is at the about 20 miles from the eastern end of I-80 at the "Truck Stop" in Iowa. It is billed as the worlds biggest truck stop. It is huge! They have all styles of lug nut caps and as I remember for at less than $2 each.

Real Wheel Corp has covers like T Kane but do not require lug nut removal.  Therefore all my lug nuts are hard against the wheel plus Real Wheel covers screw on from the front vs the side like T Kane.  Much easier on the drive wheels.

My set were a little less than $600.  Same quality heavy duty stainless as T Kane.  Sure is easy to clean the wheels.

I would love to see some pictures. Most of the products on their web site have exposed lugs... what model are yours?

I think these are stock; nothing in my files say different. They are not plastic. They are a solid fit, and yes, because of old habits, I DO check them every time we go out. ^.^d

Don, Go to the address above.  They are the ones on the left, 22.5"- 24.5" Smooth Faced.  It says Hub Pliloted but fit my stud piloted wheels just fine for several thousand miles.  You can just barely see the mounting phillips head bolt at 9 and 3 o'clock on the steer cover and at 10 o"clock on the drive.  They face straight out, not on the side.  Mounting instructions are also a pair of PDFs on this page.

These are standard on Liberty Prevost conversions but the Liberty folks put a Liberty label in the center where mine have RWC label.

The screw on are plastic also, and more expensive. Yours are push on and easier to find. The screw on type are for a different center cover and the flange of the nut cover holds it in place.

Found the ones Stump linked were an exact match.  Bought a pkg of 10 on Amazon and the proper plastic "wrench" to fit.  Until we lost a few I had assumed they were metal and torqued to stay put.  Now I realize that not only are they plastic but had a bunch cracked and loose so I replaced the lost and cracked and tightened all snug.  I can see that a periodic snug will likely reduce the incidence of loss.

I really like the T Kane's but too many other "wishes" in the way!

Randy,
I have the same covers as you.  I order them as others have said several at a time from a chrome shop at exit 2 on 75 just inside Ga.  If you decide you want their name let me know.
Also, I recommend not to put the gorilla grip on them when tightening, just real snug.  If you overtighten them, they will probably leave the threaded piece on the stud when you try to remove them.  I also recommend a little lubricant on the threads.
