Oil pan nut size

Could someone tell me the nut size for my oil pan. It is tight under there and I don't have many wrenches at the movement but I will. Thanks

Two words Bob.  "Crescent (adjustable) wrench" and "carefully" as to not round the edges.  Then write the size on the funnel that you will be using every time.        Also the Napa (Davidson's) store now sells those gate valves for oil changing and I've heard good things about them.

I use the Fumoto on Duramax in my truck and love it.  My truck takes 2.5 gallons and I use my old DEF jugs for the old oil.

I would advise getting the hose kit that goes on some of the valves with extra caps and clips.  The oil does run slow but that is ok with me as I dont make a mess out of using a funnel and pan.

I will put one on my coach this winter.  I will go drain the oil the old way then see what size I need and put the plug back in just to keep dirt out and order a Fumoto and I can go back in a week or so and put it in and then add oil.

It is not vice grip size. On the 3208 I was thinking 1 inch or maybe 1 1/8 inch. It has been a long time since I changed oil on a 3208

I agree red tractor, looks like 1" inch but my calibrated eyes ain't what they used to be, and i got down on my creeper to take a look see, but the drain plug is over the yet to be finished concreted mechanics pit. Local code athouthority won't buy off on a continuously ventilated pit or a spark resistant bilge blower sucking any fumes that will settle in the bottom.

Safety first, doesn't include buying a cities only approved $15k minimum proprietary system for a confined space. Somebody is going to live and retire nicely. Pit will be ventilated, and i can borrow a monitor from work.
