Dash heat on 1998 U320

I am in the process of replacing the dash heater control valve. It does not operate. I located the valve and the two hoses that connect the heater core to the engine. The valve is located below the floor at the very front of the coach below the 12 volt power distribution panel. I have also located the two air conditioning lines. But, there is another hose that exits the floor (bundled with the aforementioned heater hoses and air conditioner lines) and runs toward the rear of the coach. All 5 hoses are bundled together and disappear into the space immediately beneath the floor of the coach. What does the 5th hose do? Where does it go? Is a schematic of the dash heat system available?

Is there an aquahot heat exchanger in the dash heater box? If so, where is the other hose? I looked for a 6th hose and could not find one.

Our 02 had a heat exchanger in the center of the dash that came out through the center defroster vent.  (We put a toggle switch to stop it because it was noisey and the others kept the coach comfortable.). The hoses may not come out together since it's a loop that goes also to other heat exchangers.  I have no idea how they are routed.  Just thinking out loud.
