Dish PlayMaker & Wally Installation and Setup
Good Morning All,
I have just purchased and used a Dish PlayMaker Antenna w/Wally Receiver. I have a 95 U240. I have replaced the old TVs with new flat screen TVs. Here is the problem, I want to use the sat on both TVs. The wally receiver connects to the TV using a HDMI cable. I still have old coax wire in the MH. I bought a RadioShack HDMI to RF Coaxial Converter Adapter. I connect the playMaker antenna to the MH thru the cable connection in the dump station bay. I can disconnect the cable coax from the power booster(in the closet floor) and connect it to a wire run to front TV(across the floor) and connect the wally receiver to the TV with a HDMI cable, this proves the connection from the antenna to the receiver in MH. When I put the wally receiver in the closet and use the RF Coaxial Converter Adapter nothing works. What do I do about the switches at the front TV and the ones above the closet. I don't want to go thru the power booster with the sat. I do still want the local antenna on the roof to work. Any Ideas? Thanks for all the help.
