Pumping is better then filling the filters.    You pump the fuel and it passes through both filters  guaranteeing the fuel is clean. Filling the filters adds any dirt in the jug and transfer method . IMHO

I would have remembered 70 pump strokes, I changed one filter, fired it up and the changed the second filter. I'm sure it did not take more than twenty strokes.
