Intermittent weather

Snow storm, power droops are hitting the ATS switch every ten -15 minutes. Coach is in coach house so running generator is out of the question. Disconnect and shut everything 120 vac off including the 120v heaters. Been winterized. Or don't worry about it and leave connected?

If you're winterized and not worried about pipes freezing, I think I'd disconnect until the power stabilizes. Maybe run a space heater that is not on the RV system for a while if needed.  No need to worry about power spikes or stressing the ATS like that.  Easy for me to say in Tx w temps at 70 deg though.

Disconnect and put a battery charger on the house batteries. It will float them and or charge them as needed. Geta oil filled radiator to plug in as well in the coach house to prevent the deep cold from hitting the coach.

Rig up a flexible exhaust pipe that routes the smoke through the wall or ceiling.  Will allow you to run the coach generator in emergencies.

I bought a rubber exhaust hose like they use at the service places.  It is bigger than you need for the generator exhaust pipe but a hose clamp will squeeze it smaller so that it fits well.  I have a hole (with a cover) in the side of the coach house to run it outside.  Use it often.

They make 2" as well, probably a better fit.
