Manabloc Repair

I came home the other night to find water dripping under the wet bay and find the feed fittings on the Manabloc are leaking...  Doing a quick forum search I learn the Manabloc fitting are proprietary and not made anymore.... Now what? Barrys pages and the forum show how to repair using epoxy ..... guess I will go get it apart... wonderful start of the day..... :headwall:  :help:

I take the fill line fittings apart and the fittings on the Manabloc sure look like 1" pipe to me. I am thinking why is everyone using the old fitting and epoxy..... am I missing something? Anyway off to the hardware store I go..... get some fittings and some good pipe sealant... an hour later and 5 bucks lighter in the pocket I'm back together... tested to 90 psi no leaks... I am a happy camper... b^.^d

Ted, good for you and that is what I like to see,  some brain use instead of trying to find original etc stuff, even if it is available.
I have do e many fixes that are not the norm but work out as well or better.
