How do I fill fresh water tank

Very new here. First coach, I have a 96, 36ft, U295. I have located the valve under the bathroom sink but still have no idea where I hook the garden hose up to in order to fill my fresh water tank. I have located and figured out how to drain all tanks and flush my grey and black water but for the life of me cannot figure out where to fill the fresh water and how the valve in the bathroom ties in. Can someone "dumb" it down for me

On most coaches all the utility connections enter the coach through one bay. Sewer, electric phone, tv, and fresh water. If you find most of your connections in one bay, chances are that is where the fresh water comes into the coach.
You can connect fresh water into the coach, and it will work at all faucets., but not fill the fresh tank. To fill the fresh tank open the fill valve (probably the one you found) and then the tank will fill.
Best to shut off inbound water to fresh tank before it overflows out the top. Overflowing can get the rear bulkhead wet, (and make a mess on the ground ).
You want to avoid giving that bulkhead a regular bath.

To add to Tim's reply, as you are looking around the "wet bay" where you find all the above mentioned connections, look for a female hose thread connector.  It may be a simple bare connector, or it may have some kind of valve or quick connect device attached to it.  If you have this setup, then you will probably also find a coiled up (usually) white water hose stashed somewhere nearby in the coach storage bay.

OR, you may see a (usually) white water hose on a reel.  The reel might be electrically operated, or it might be a manual spring return reel.  If you have a reel mounted hose, that is where you hook up to shore water.  Pull out as much hose as you need, and connect to faucet.  Unless you are sure your water source is clean and free of grit, it is a good idea to use a filter when filling your tank.  You can buy simple basic "blue" water filter units at Walmart or most camping supply stores.  If you have high water pressure where you are, it is advisable to use a water pressure regulator.  Set it to about 45 psi.  These are also available at camping supply stores.

If you don't have a water reel the fresh water fill point will look something like this.

 Also to keep your wet bay Dry make 2 lengths of hose 3 foot piece of the white hose put the proper connections on it leave two of them connected all the time in the wet bay and make your connections outside of the wet bay to alleviate any possibility of flooding the wet bay area when you connect and disconnect Water inlet & black  rinse  drain hoses and plug you can buy nice  90° elbow's to make a cleaner look at installation

 Also never use the same hose for rinsing your black tank out as filling your water inlet  just to be safe cross contamination
