That appears to be a Hehr alternator. Very popular with the 270 & 295s back in the late 90s. I have no idea as to if they are even in business anymore. I see very few of them these days. Seems like they were somewhere around 140 or 150 amp.

Last info on there distributer that I have is: HD Power Solutions Inc Contact Information

Yes, Hehr is still in business (or was a couple of months ago when I spoke with them).

Check for a servicing dealer near you.  Well worth overhauling (replacing bearings and diode packs).

If you can find a small rebuilder, you will way ahead, instead of trying to find the correct new alternator.

Lewco in Costa Mesa, Ca.  Did mine.  Bearings and a diode. Set at 13.8 volts at the battery. He liked the LN.  large heat sinks. Adjustable output. Lasted 20 years before the rebuild

its a leece neville/prestolite. They have been around a long time and are quite common. as caflashbob says, any rebuilder should be able to take care of it, just make sure he understands what DUVAC is.
