Wood steering wheel

Hi all,

Curious if anyone out there with a similar coach, would want to sell their wood steering wheel?  I would send our leather steering wheel plus $ in exchange?

I like wood steering wheels, but have not been able to find an after market wheel that I like.    Our 2003 U295 only has 50k miles on her, so our leather wheel is in fine shape. I'm sure it a long shot, but thought I'd try.

Can't help you with the swap, but I sure would like to see a photo of the wood wheel.  Never saw any Foretravel that had one!

I see you have been looking for a wood wheel for a while (Reply #2):

I'm curious. Doesn't your coach have a smart wheel? If so where would you put the switches?

Found some photos - is this close to what you want?  Also a link to a truck wheel outlet.

First photo looks almost exactly like the wheel on our '93 U280, except a wood rim instead of leather.  Hmmmm........

Thanks for the suggestions!  I have seen numerous coaches for sale with wood wheels, so the smart wheel should not be effected.  Here's a photo of a coach for sale at MOT with the wood wheel option:
