Question Victron/3000 multi plus Charging

When charging I am only seeing 10-15 amps... How can I get more? I have changed the setting through the Interface but not sure how to raise it as it doesnt seem to change anything after I save it.

Recommendations?

Anyone have there Lithium setting they used for charging perimeters? ran batteries to about 40% which is about 400ah and had the gen running all night to wake up to 52%.

What do you think I need to change?

For Battle Born, they recommend 14.4 volts bulk, no absorption time, and 13.5 volt float. May be different for other battery makes. Make sure victron is set for at least 15 amps input, that allows me to charge at about 90 amps.

How do you measure the 90 amps? Would or should the Color monitor show it? Would it show over 15 amps on the screen?

Get a DC clamp-on multi-meter.  Be sure it measures DC amps.  Clamp it on the cable from charger to battery bank.  Read Amps.

Every coach tool box should have one.  I got this one...there are others just as good, I am sure.  Shop around.

I do not have the color monitor. I use the bluetooth 712 battery monitor on my phone which shows me what is going into the batteries . Not sure how the color monitor is set up, but I have bluetooth for the Victron 3000 and it can be set for charger on/off, inverter on/off, and incoming amps which I set at 15 amps. I would think you could read all this on your monitor.
Call Alan at Bay Marine tomorrow, he can walk you through it.

I have the 712 also but can not control the on off.. maybe outdated? I think they update when the new update comes out.

The 712 does not control the 3000, but you should be able to use color monitor to adjust the 3000.
Good luck, once you get it sorted out, you will appreciate the setup.
Yes Victron Connect with a bluetooth dongle on the 3000 is what I use.
