Dash annunciator (beeper) not working

Now this may be a good thing but not a beep in the 2 years I have owned the coach.  Know what it's supposed to look like, know where it's supposed to be.  'taint where its supposed to be.

Anyone have any idea's?

Your dash may be different than mine, but my beeper is located behind the warning light bar below the main gauges on the right side. It appears to be part of the warning light bar, not a separate remote piece. It has a white connector with four wires on it. Hard to see. Mark

Thanks, Mark.

Tonight I will look and follow those wires if I have them.

That's the way it is on this 97 270. I should say "was." Last year I was trying to disable it and ended up yanking the wire off the warning light board. Turns out I like it this way. I did install a beeper for the turn signals though.

Now mine is not working.  But I think I found the problem.  The positive lead broke off from its circuit board connection.  See pic.

Questions:  The circuit board seems to be in two pieces where there is a smaller board plugged into the larger board.  Can one easily remove the smaller board by simply unplugging it?  Removing the board would make it a lot easier to reattach the annunciator (+) lead.  Are these boards available from FT?

And what is that yellow stuff on the end of the board?

Thanks in advance,

George

All of mine have had the same stuff on that board. Might be some kind of insulation to prevent contact with the metal. By the way, that's the same wire I broke off of mine in this rig.

The yellow stuff is the adhesive that holds the annunciator to the board.
