Ride height shims (split from Re: Toad)

Have WAY too much experience with setting ride height with those shims.

Big Bend trip will likely win over Disneyland.  Oh well.

So, my U225 now has no more shims? Now what do I do?

What is your RIDE HEIGHT at each wheel position? And number of shims at each wheel position of there are any?

Also, look at the arms coming off the torsilastic beam to verify that the metal is centered in the bushing (if wallowed out, it will allow ride height to be lower).

Easy.  You can either have a spring shop make a pair of steel torsion bars or replace yours with new ones from Sulastic

Before deciding that you even need to do anything, let us know the answers to questions posed in my post above.

The U225 because of its much lighter drivetrain did not have near the issue with loss of proper ride height as the U240 with same suspension.

I check the ride height occasionally; seems to be unchanged. I will check out the torsion in the next week or so.
As always,  I appreciate the input from forum members.

Ours that 'Bashfull Brett' modified is doing fine, but I've seen a couple of U-225s and U-240s that looked like they were hauling Lucille Ball's rock collection!
