Fridge Replacement in Maine?

Dometic Fridge just died. I'm not sad about it as we planned to put a residential in anyway. Problem is we are in MAINE near Acadia.

Anybody able to suggest a place to get this done?

What do you want someone to do, replace your Dometic with a residential and do the necessary cabinet work?  If so you will probably have to go further south, down around Lewiston-Auburn before there are any big RV dealers.

How do you know the Dometic is dead?

Still have some additional trouble shooting to do tomorrow, but it has completely stoped cooling and does not appear to be running at all. Does not cool on gas or electric mode.

I figured we would have to go to a big city. May do it ourselves if we can round up enough help.

Let me know what further testing shows. 

If at all possible I would try to get the Dometic working again until I had a better opportunity to do the residential swap.  Not sure what campground you're in but a lot of them don't allow major work to be done on-site.

I agree, you will find it difficult to do that big a remodel in an rv park near Acadia. There might be a repair just across the bridge in Ellsworth??

We faced a similar situation while in Florida lasy year. In order to " buy time" to plan the final solution. We went to Home Depot and bought a dorm-style refrigerator (with a separate freezer door) and brought in in through the front door and placed it near the dining table. It cost about $200 but was overall the best short-term solution to let us continue an enjoyable trip.
