Power Tech Generator Part Numbers

UPDATED INFORMATION: I received some parts for our Power Tech generator and will share the information for anyone interested. These apply to the 10 kW generator in our 1995 U320 with remote radiator. When I spoke with Trish at Power Tech it was clear that they go by the generator serial number for parts, and even with the serial number they may need measurements from the generator to be sure which part is required. In my case they needed the center-to-center measurement for the thermostat housing bolts to determine the proper thermostat. Here is the information:

Note that Power Tech calls for a 180 degree thermostat but that Foretravel used a 165 degree thermostat in our applications.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread DJ, but here is a link to some more info on the 95 10KW PowerTech that I dealt with a while back.
Maybe it will be of some use to someone.

PowerTech Generator confusion

I'm now confused about the proper thermostat for my 1995 U320 with the generator in the front and the remote radiator. You indicated that the original thermostat for your 1995 U280 is the Kubota 1E399-73010 160 deg thermostat. I'm wondering if your U280 has the remote radiator as does my U320 and whether I should have the 160 deg or the Kubota 5531-73014 180 deg thermostat that Power Tech indicated is the proper thermostat for my setup. Any additional clarification would be great. Thanks!

I don't have a remote radiator. It is belt driven on the front of the Kubota.
PowerTech originally told me it was supposed to be a 180* based on the engine serial. IIRC. But after reading in my "Big Red Book" where FT had spec a 160* t-stat, I called and spoke with (Jeff maybe?) and they actually had both t-stats under the same part number. He seemed confused also and said he would research further and let me know what he found out. Unfortunately that call back was never made and I installed the 160* anyway.

Generator has not shut down on me since.
Wish I could tell you more but........
