Avatar orientation

I have now tried to rotate my avatar and am unsuccessful. Is there a way to rotate the photo?  Tried to find this topic on the forum.

FWIW, looks fine from my end.

It looks OK to me on the forum.  One thing to be aware of is the orientation of your phone when taking a photo.  Sometimes it doesn't register correctly.  It might look OK on your phone, but when you view it on a different device, the orientation doesn't resolve correctly.

Should have noted that I figured out how to fix the avatar.  I had to crop the photo as the length of the photo was higher then the width.  Which I believe was the reason the avatar kept rotating the picture on its side.  Once I cropped the photo, it came through perfect.  Thanks all!
