Entry Door Water Intrusion

We've had a lot of rain on this trip but this question can also be relevant with regard to AC drainage. Foretravel runs the roof drip edge to the edge of the front and cap.  As a result water draining off the roof runs down the hinge side of the entry door.  Because the bottom step on our coach extends slightly outboard of the face of the front door there's always some amount of water that collects on the easing edge of the first step.  With each opening of the front door assisting water following the hinge edge also collects on the first step.

Deploying the big awning helps because it extends slightly forward of the door but we don't routinely leave the big awning out in the rain, preferring to use the window awnings.

Has anyone found some way to extend the drip edge further forward forward?  On our 5th wheel there was a Camco after market extension that fits on the rain gutter but I think these gutters were configured differently. 

As a aside it's also a bit of a nuisance that drips on the drivers front gutter fall directly on the front outside turn signal and the both sides of the rear gutters drip on the engine air scoop...all of which I hear as I'm lying in bed and sound almost like an inside drip.

Yeah I feel your pain. Not a good way to get rid of the AC condensate imo. Causes mold to grow in that front cap joint on mine. Haven't looked at draining the ac in any other way yet but would be interested in seeing if others have done so.

As I understand it the bottom step is a "wet step". I try to let our coach be a bit lower in the back and to the drivers side when parked seems to help.

Randy, I installed those drip outs on our fifth wheel as well.  They worked great.  Not sure either if they will work, but will take a look more closely and see if I can modify and will post results.
