Need help. Veryy low flow of water.

I think there is a restriction in my fresh water system.
I can get a low flow of water through all taps except the shower valves, if I use a lot of pressure from the city waterline.
I can't get any flow l from onboard pump. Pump runs and comes up to pressure then shuts off, n but no flow.  I can fill fresh water tank.
Could my Manibloc be plugged?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Remove the shower head and re-check pressure.  That is the easiest. Could be nothing more than a blocked shower head that soaking in white vinegar would fix.

Also, make sure the manibloc valve for the shower is fully on.

If still insufficient flow, thru the manibloc valve off/on/off/on and recheck.  Since this could damage a 17 year old seal, I would only do this after the two things above.

Tried removing shower head, still no flow..
Afraid to touch Manibloc, can't buy replacement or parts.

Make sure your water fill valve is in the off position.

Clean the screens at each faucet first.. then check the fill valve (if you have one) make sure it is closed.. check faucet outside see if you have pressure.. thought I had read there was a one way valve somewhere after the hose? Maybe collapsed? Just guessing here

Unless it's been damaged your manabloc is rebuildable.  I totally rebuilt mine two years ago as it had some signs of leakage and corrosion on one of the all-threads that hold it together. I used O- rings that were a tiny bit thicker as they were easily obtainable, and it's like new now.

Both the water from your pump and city water go through the manablock.  It is not hard to get lots of bits of stuff in your water and then to all of the faucets where the faucets screens trap some of it.  Try removing all of them and then clean or replace all of them.  Check the strainer on the input side of the pump.  Check your accumulator tank.  With the pump off and a faucet open, check the air valve, it looks like a tire valve because it is.  If air comes out good, if water comes out your accumulator tank needs to get replaced.  Check the air pressure in the tank, it should be about 2 bs less than the pump cut in pressure.  (about 30 psi) Each faucet has a cartridge that controls flow.  These may be damaged, check them as well.  Your fill valve may be nit working right as well.  Check each is series.  See if it helps then try the next one.

Add water to the fresh tank, maybe 20 gallons and then drain it out.  You can use a compressor at about 20-30 psi hooked up to the water fill hose and with the tank fill valve open it will push water out quicker. Repeat several times.  This will help flush out the chunks.  I have a flushable prefilter (80 micron) which will trap the bigger chunks.  Then two more filters and a water softener before any water goes into the coach.  When we got our coach almost 9 years ago we had similar issues with the water system.  There was a lot of very fine grit in everything.

Keep at it, it will get better.

Actually, the way to check the accumulator is with shore water OFF, pump OFF.

Open a faucet and bleed off any pressure.

Using a regular tire gauge, check pressure on the schrader (sp) valve on the accumulator.

Yes, if water comes out, the diaphragm is bad and you need to replace it.

Pressure should be pump cut-in pressure minus 2 PSI.  So for many of the OE pumps 25- 2= 23 PSI.

Tom,

You may need to do a system acid wash with vinegar due to the fitting in the piping being clogged with calcium buildup.

Flexible line in shower was plugged.
Always treated water with a filter and softener.

 I moved my flex head much  higher  and fit the bracket above my head instead of at my face.    The flex cost way more for the littl e bit longer tho.
