Bedroom TV Update

19" Phillips LED bedroom TV died. Not many 19" TV's made anymore. Chose a Amazon.com: VIZIO D-Series 24" Class (23.5" Diag.) Smart TV: Electronics]24" Visio smart TV[/url].  Fit on existing articulated mount.  A bit wider but also a bit thinner and a hair shorter.

Nice to have Screencast and Airplay built in as well as all the streaming channels.

Similar to this one.  Already installed by previous owner.  I'll add a picture when I get back out to coach.

Hmm... just the Apple TV I was planning to buy for the bedroom is $180. A smart tv with Apple Play is a smart buy!

How much do you bump into the 24"? I wonder if anyone makes a 24" in 4k?  Or does 4k matter?

I pulled the old TV out and out a 19" Vizio in the opening on a swivel arm mount.  Finished the inside if the space, added a shelf and a DVD player. It is also where our printer sits.

Added an Amazon FireTV stick to it.  We can get everything Susan wants to watch on it.  It really doesn't get used much.

Michael - the 24" is 22.2" wide and the 19" we replaced was 18.2.  Obviously the difference was made up on both ends so the additional projection into the hall opening seems less than 2" over the 19".  This is on my side of the bed so my body is already trained to "walk around" that corner at night as I come out of bed.  Going in the room it isn't a factor.  No other alternative without cutting into the overhead storage along the passenger side of the coach.

The 1080p resolution is noticeably better than the 720p on the 19".  I don't think 4k is something available on TV's this small and with this small a form factor I'm not sure you'd notice when lying in bed.
