Turn signal problem

Today when I picked up my wife at work i parked on a side street to hook up the toad to head out for some weekend camping and for safety I had the hazard lights on and noticed that half of the passenger side turn signals were not working. The front and the little one on the mirror arm are flashing as normal but the side marker and back were not working, also the passenger side  on the toad was not blinking either. I turned off the hazards and tried the turn signal and had the same results. All the running lights work as they should. Drivers side all work as they should. Anybody have any suggestions on where to start checking? Last time we were out all were working as they should. The only thing I've done is replace the 3rd break light which I don't think will have anything to do with the turn signals and it works as it should...

Keith, if the front turns are working start looking in the back end before where the toad lights are connected.  Do you have signal there?  Probably in the big bundle of wires coming from the left along the top of the lower frame (where hitch receiver is). A bad connection or broken wire is likely the culprit here.

But would a bad wire back there affect the light on the side up by front wheel??

Unfortunately, you are going to have to follow the wires from where they last work back or...start with side marker light pull it out and view bulb, socket, connectors/connections & wires on backside. If all look good and you have no feed power coming back to the side light follow the feed wires  forward to c where issue is look at ground, pinched wire, cut, rubbed etc??? Best to have a test light to check for power and good ground. Good luck.

Could be 2 issues not one. The light on the mirror I know is tied into the lower side marker light behind the entrance door. See if that bulb is good or not before going farther.

The flasher control s are behind the panel in front of the pass seat down at the floor (in mine anyway).  Front signals are most likely on one set of wires. Rear on another likely to the rear and then back to the sides.  Fronts yes and read and sides no make that likely.  As I recall brakes and turn signals are separate wires. (Yellow turn signals).  Chak at the back where you have access and at the front where you have access.  Tough anywhere else.

We were traveling and setting up yesterday and I didn't do any troubleshooting before asking the question last nite. This morning I did some checking and got them working. I removed the bulb from the socket and put it back in and they started working, had to do each socket (side and back) don't know if the road is working yet. Kinda weird that 2 sockets had the same problem at the same time. Hope this has it solved.

Dielectric grease is a good thing to use on the bulb connections available at auto parts stores and most Lowe's, stops corrosion and maintains contacts
