Miscellaneous Projects

Can't find that darn what did you do thread. Anyhow, while waiting to get out of here, I've found a few little things to take care of.

* Replaced both of the little mud guards aft of the rear tires (to battery compartment & air cleaner area)
* (this one's big) Replaced a burned out light on one of my mirror controls
* Blackened the air bags and tires
* Polished (Rejex) and 303'd the rig
* Installed a new bidet seat. This one turned out to be a big deal as I had to remove the toilet.

We better get out of here pretty soon as I can't think of much more to do. Wait a minute. I could always start over!

You stay home much longer and you will have to solicit "Volunteer Coaches" to be upgraded,

Should not be hard to get a long list volunteering for the JOR upgrade.

Can I "pre-order"?

Jor, would you mind sharing the info on the Bidet name? I have one at home and would love to travel with one. Thank you.

Jeff I just installed a new toilet and bidet. I used the luxe neo 320. haven't used it yet as I am still working on my hot water bypass valve and my tanks are empty. But it's a hot and cold one.

I just use a putty knife and carefully pry up one side. It pops right out. Here's a couple of photos.

BioBidet Elite. After Hatfield's posts turned me onto to these things, I have become a total convert. With all the panic buying of toilet paper I am smug with about an 80% reduction in its use. I tried to find a toilet seat which incorporates the bidet for the RV but couldn't find one that fit just right.

When you have time it would be great if you could share how you plumbed it. Thanks!

Apparently Bidets are also in short supply...sold out everywhere.

I use a product called Forever Black Tire Gel. It is water based and won't damage your tires or air bags. I just do it a couple of times a year. Lasts a long time. Really one of those totally elective procedures. I got the recommendation from one of the best sources on this forum, Barry and Cindy.

I'd post a photo but the way I did it is dead simple. My bidets, both home and RV, are mechanical, no electricity and cold only. For the RV, I just teed off of the cold pex under the sink, holed the side of the cabinet and passed the hose through the side of the cabinet (with a grommet) and attached to the toilet. Easy peasy.

That was my concern too before I installed one. The thing uses very little water and it's coming from the protected pipes so it's more like room temperature. Of course, target acquisition is key.

Crazy days. Since everything is made in China now,  stands to reason nothing is available from them now.
The fittings it comes with are not good for our coach. When you recieve it and register it, you get a credit. Use that to purchase the necessary fittings from the company.  Took a couple of days to get them. I ran a hot pex line up from the maniblock to it. The cold comes off the toilet supply line. Also had to buy some bumper guards from Amazon.  Haven't used it yet.
