Drop Down TV 2014 I-H 45

Good Morning To All

I parked the coach leveled and put the slides out , When I turned the key off to kill the engine my front tv folded down and I can't get it to go back up,

I've tried unplugging the power lift for a few minutes no luck,,

I was told to try to reset the Silver Leaf, I see the reset switch in my utility compartment but I'm not sure of the process.

Any suggestions?

Does 12V inverter need to be on?

Do you have a silver leaf manual? It should have a section on Using the reset switch. Not sure if it will work, but you might try turning both 50 amp and 12 volt off,let it set for about 10 minutes and then turn back on. I have done this to clear computer run items before in another coach.

I don't have the manual,

I went to the Silver Leaf site and I can not find a manual for the HMS360E

I'll try disconnecting all power and see what happens

I would start by checking fuses.
Usually the simple solution gets the job done especially if there was no prior problems or symptoms.

Been there done that.

When you push the raise switch do you hear any relay clicking?
Assuming you have made sure all of the cabinets near are shut. Have you checked the cabinets around to make sure a magnet or contact has not fallen off?

If still not going up find your manual hook. Attache to the pipe that is facing down driver side by the front window.  Pull down or up (I do not remember which)  to engage and start turning to raise the screen. Most times after I turn for just a little bit the switch will work the screen again.

Let us know what you find out.

To use the Silver leaf reset switch, turn it off and wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. I don't know if this will work for the tv, I was told to do it because even after I unplugged the coach the alarm still said shore cord connected. There is a manual way to put the tv up and it has a special wrench to turn the gears to raise the tv.
