What are the chances it's a bad filter?
Are you certain you have no leaks?
When is the last time the dryer was replaced, and not just the filters?

Your drier has failed.  Replace it.

Remove the filter if it is the screw on canister .  Check the O ring and make sure of only one.  Most likely some thing you just did ..

I just replaced my dryer. Very simple! I did think it was taking to long to build pressure and found that I had not closed the air tank valve fully. Check there.
I am very happy I replaced the entire unit!

Considering the downside to air dryer malfunctions, changing it out is cheap insurance.

If you have a cartridge style dryer, when you change the cartridge, wipe out the purge area and maybe blow out the basin.
