Greetings...
My wife and I recently purchased this unit (AND WE LOVE IT !!!)
We are currently having an issue with our freshwater holding tank.
Originally, whenever we hooked up to "city water" the tank automatically filled.
Then one day we noticed it didn't.
I located a switch inside the wet bay that says freshwater fill tank pump (or something to that effect) so I turned it on.
I could hear a motor running for a few seconds and then it shut off. Tried several more time with same results.
The tank did not fill.
Is there another way to fill the tank ?
Is the switch and or the pump malfunctioning ?
Should it fill automatically when connected to city water ?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you are mistaken about the tank automatically filling as it would have also been overflowing. You only use the fill switch to fill the tank, when it is off the water goes to the faucets when the hose is connected. If it is off and no hookups the water pump takes over when turned on. If the fill valve is on you will have a green light in the bathroom and the wet bay. Normal usage is to fill the tank, turn off the fill valve and turn on the pump until more water is needed.

Craneman is exactly correct.  I will try to say the same thing in a different manner so maybe between the two you can work it out. 

If your objective is to fill the fresh water tank, 1: hook up the hose. 2: turn off the water pump switch if it was on. 3: turn on the "fill" switch (the green light should come on. 4: open the hose faucet.  The tank should then begin filling.  Once the tank is as full as you want it, close the hose faucet, turn off the fill switch and turn on the water pump switch.  At this point the interior faucets will be working off the fresh water tank via the water pump. 

If your objective is to have the interior faucets working directly off the city water, 1: turn off both the "fill"switch and the water pump switch. 2: hook up the hose and open the hose faucet.  At this point the interior faucets will be working off city water. 

As noted, I usually turn the fill valve on or off when the hose faucet is closed so that there is not a bunch of water pressure working against the valve when its position is changed.

Best practice is to use the tank and pump if you need water. If you are hooked up and open to city water 1) if you get a water leak when your not there the water will leak until you get back possibly flooding the coach,  2) on city water you could over flow the gray tank if your not paying attention to your tank levels..

We turn the water pump on and off as needed..

Craneman and Richard are correct unless a previous owner modified it like mine. Then you had to flip manual valves too.
I plan on never running off city water and only filling my tank via a direct fill that I monitor while filling.

There is a way to fill without the electric valve. I don't have your model but GleamB does and he showed me on his but I can't explain it. Perhaps if you send him a msg.

Last winter when I couldn't fill my tank I put a manual valve in place of the electric valve. That wasn't the problem. The problem
was the check valve. At the time I bypassed the check valve and filled from the passengers side of the coach. Went I got home I
replaced the check valve and put everything back the way it was supposed to be. The check valve had blocked the filling once
before but then cleared itself. I found out about the check valve from the forum.
