"RVAir" air filters

good afternoon everyone,
Is anyone else using these filters? Did a search with no results.
I don't think the stock black ones do enough.

I made a template out of a plastic placemat and using it I can make a filter out of any material I choose.  Right now I'm using the Hepa material in a size that allows me to make two filters from one store bought piece, and I backed it with a  custom cut piece of that blue rubberized horsehair. Inexpensive.

I purchased them for the first time in September '19. Much thicker and more dense than the standard black filters. Manufacturer calls to change filters out every 90 days. I have not changed them because we did not use the AC/Heat Pump much over the winter. I do wonder about reduced air flow caused by the thicker material. I paid $13 each at Walmart. They are disposable (not washable).

Blue rubberized horsehair?

I cut tight a tight fitting piece of this to use as a backer for the lightweight filter material so the lightweight stays in place and doesn't get sucked up inside. And the horsehair is washable.
