Cartridge for Moen Utility Bay Faucet

See picture of my MOEN Utility Bay Faucet attached - It needed a cartridge.

The numbers on the faucet are ANSI112.18.1M and the words "S-Series"

The correct MOEN Cartridge for this faucet is MOEN 14690 Ceramic Heavy Duty Cartridge

Follow directions - easy swap - easier yet if you do what I did and remove the faucet from the coach - just dont lose the rubber gaskets and of course shut of the water first (I used Manoblock, all good!)

What is the purpose of the white ring at the end of the faucet?

It's a quick connect for adding a water hose to end of the spigot. Hope this helps!

Tim where did you order it from? I've looked online and there anywhere is from 38 plus to 50 something plus dollars. One said each. So do you get both cartridges or did you have to order each one separate? Right now my faucet is out of the coach as I redo the wet bay and I fully intend on putting it back in and it would be nice to change the cartridges since I'm sure they've never been done. Some places are saying three weeks before they'll ship it others will ship it now but don't charge your shipping. What was your experience with the shipping? Thanks for putting in the part number.

I bought them via amazon. One at a time.
Were between 45 and 51 dollars including shipping I think. Two different sellers First one took two weeks, worked great, I decided to do the second one as well and that one has not arrived yet

Sorry to post so late on this. Moen has a lifetime warranty. Go thru there warrentee department. Snap a photo and Magically a new one will show up. If it's unrepairable they will replace the whole faucet

If you call Moen, they will ship you new cartridges for free. You need to talk to the commercial division though. The consumer/residential group doesn't know anything about that faucet. I received my replacements about a month ago.

I had to replace mine as well, didn't know about the warranty , but I got mine from amazon and also bought some shares. There's a plastic version that you can buy for $14 also.

Last time I dealt with them from start to finish was several days. Was to replace a 500$ kitchen faucet. Week later it showed up with a request to trash the old one. This was 8 months ago on a 12 years old faucet. I've had nothing but good experiences so much so that is all I will install now. Southern Nevada water has so much alkaline dissolved in it the boat will go. 3-5 mph faster. Destroys everything. They call it a pristine water source. I've drank my whole life, don't know any better.

I agree with at least attempting to get free warranty replacement from Moen. I have done so with other old Moen fixtures.
FT modifies the Moen 8121 Commercial Service Sink faucet. FT drills and taps it to accept a needle valve drain.

A Moen 8124 would also fail to self-drain.
Practically everything else (minus 12V pump) self-drains. When it was bitter cold (single digits f) in MI last NOV, I failed to open that valve before heading to Florida. So, when I connected to water at the Cinci FMCA park, water came gushing out of the cracked-open expensive Moen valve body. Obviously, it doesn't drain because of the arched spout. For that reason, I replaced it with a straight spout SPEAKMAN SC 5812 Service Sink faucet. You searched for 5812 - Speakman
Amazon has changed (corrected) the pricing. Whereas I paid about $74 for the polished version, it is now $100 and the rough chrome is about $76.
I'm not using the vertical pail support. I chose the polished model, not the RCP rough chrome plate. I can't tell if the inner bay door panel pushes against the spout. There seems to be no problem closing the door securely.

Moen does have a great warranty, I've used it a few times. It is, however, limited to the original purchaser of the faucet, so unless you bought your Foretravel new......it's not warrantied.

No doubt they have replaced numerous ones.

Moen warrants to the original consumer purchaser for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home (the "Warranty Period" for homeowners), that this faucet will be leak- and drip-free during normal use and all parts and finishes of this faucet will be free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship. All other purchasers (including purchasers for industrial, commercial and business use) are warranted for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period" for non-homeowners).

Yes, technically they could deny the warranty coverage for 99% of us. I found that they were very liberal with their application of the warranty and were very helpful. Our wet bay faucets are from their commercial line so you'll get best results by going straight to their commercial division tech support. The residential division didn't even believe that it was a Moen product. Once transferred to the commercial division, it still took them a while to identify the faucet since it's been out of production for quite a while. Once they did identify it, they never asked if I was the original owner and in fact seemed happy to see such an old model still in service. They sent new cartridges right away. They were out of stock on the o-rings for the faucet riser pipe but those were shipped a few days ago. All at no charge.

Moen covered the kitchen faucet in our coach and the faucet is 31 years old. Can't beat a company with that kind of service and warranty!!

We have Moen products in our house, phone and a new cartridge comes. No receipt necessary.

I have never had a problem with Moen warranty. Some plumbing shops are hesitant to give away free parts. The store I go to gives away Cartiriges like popcorn. I always carry a spare....

Delta has the same policy also, have used them several times--never any question they just send me the parts I need
