The more FT's told the better for all of us.

That said, it doesn't have the warm comfort of my '93 Grand Villa. Too flashy for my taste.

Yup, TOTALLY different market.  Not better or worse, just unrelated to the market/marketing prior to Lyle Reed's take over.

I was at FOT this week and had a conversation with James Triana regarding coach sales. He mentioned that the two Prevost conversions done by FOT had recently been sold by RV1/MHSRV within 2 weeks of each other. Big bucks buyers with little, if any, previous RV experience.
Looks like the recent boom in RV sales has trickled down to Foretravel. The shop was full of later model IH45's and Realms. Made my old 2003 U320 look out if place.

On that you are wrong Steve. Those giant pedestal to pedestal coaches that look like the overall paint and interior was pulled out of the head of someone on LSD. Those look out of place. Our coaches are the "real world"

Of course I'd add that is just me and my taste. So if someone's boat happily floats with a mega coach. Then more power to them. Ain't freedom great!

(IMO) $2,000,000 for a motorhome is just stupid-expensive.

I seriously doubt they get any more enjoyment out of them than we do from our bargain basement coaches.

Crazy to build something like that.  Not my taste at all.  However if I had that kind of money I could probably acquire that taste pretty quickly.  I'd keep the U320 to slum with you commoners.

Yet!!! Here we are driving some really well built, old and RARE coaches that we enjoy chatting with other about because most have never seen nor heard of Foretravels. So there is still that air of exclusivity, Just a bit lower on the cost of admission scale.
It was the same with my old Caterham Super7 sports car. $20K car but no one I ever met knew what it was or had even seen one on the interweb. And it was one of the most fun aspects of my ownership. I always let people climb in it as well.

And Rick. That was a brilliant response.  :))  :))  :)) Had me laughing.

Pretty darn nice.. I can get max 100 k enjoyment from a toy. That's how I value toys for me. Hope they sell enough of them to keep their bottom line acceptable. That benefits the lower rent group. Saw a reality show where a million dollar Prevost was repossessed.. That's silly as hades to me.

Fast, good handling, relatively inexpensive, nice to look at, a greate machine.

You would think, that with right-hand drive, rural mailmen would love them.

Only if they were only delivering to one house. Not much room for much more. The seats are only 17" wide.

Wish I still had it. But coach ruined that and sold it. Besides, It was not very practical at all to use after arriving at a camp spot.

Restrictions on what rural postal carriers can drive. Vehicle can only be xx years old. Because of constant hassle by managers and post master.  It's just not worth it economically to go out and find a right hand drive vehicle.

Nah, I am only interested in driving the vintage models you guys can help me keep running :)  Do you think people that own these coaches actually drive them or hire someone?  Seriously, I am so content to own the coach I have and the relationships formed with members on this forum. Couldn't be happier.
