Aqua Hot purge cycle won’t stop

Having a problem with my purge cycle on my Aqua Hot. I have the model AHE-100-02S.
The purge cycle doesn't stop. The purge cycle runs for three minutes and it seems like it wants to stop
but then it keeps running. It stops and starts stops and starts. It will not quite. I noticed this once before
and it took it  15 minutes to turn off. After that it worked like it should.
I can't find anything in the trouble shooting manual on this. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Alan,

Contact Rudy on this site.  He will help you trouble shoot this problem.  I had similar symptoms several years ago and it turned out to be a problem with the control box.  But again, Rudy can zero in on your problem and find the solution.

I have been told that what you are describing is the first signs that the control box is dying.

I removed plug C from the control box and the purge cycle stopped. I will try and contact Rudy and see what he has to say.

Alan, you need a new control unit, the brain box that runs the burner.  You may continue operating the burner as long as you unplug the "B" plug at the end of each heating cycle.

You are most welcome to source a new unit from me.  Call me if that is your wish.
