Diesel fumes in bedroom

Upon arriving at a destination, I notice the bedroom smells like diesel. Even the pillows have a slight diesel smell. I looked and the weather stripping between bed cover and box looks ok but wondering if over the years it has collapsed some. Anyone have this issue and a fix? The heat is tolerable, I just would like to keep the fumes out

I'm not sure about the seal but, I had a similar problem and found the exhaust pipe after the muffler had rusted and was broken.  The exhaust was going into the engine compartment and not out the exhaust pipe.  I started smelling exhaust all the way up front.
After the leak was fixed, the problem solved.  Sorry to not have a better answer.

Check the manifold for signs of leaking, I had the clamp on the exhaust side of the turbo break. In short raise the bed and inspect the exhaust system closely.

I replaced my complete exhaust system from the turbo out last year. The muffler and pipes where cracked and rusted.

There should be no fumes for the insulation/seals to keep out. You have a leak.

Does your bed have a latch to hold closed? Looks like there is a lot of extra area to add seals. Exhaust leak  must be resolved, DW would not be happy at our house

Are you talking diesel exhaust or diesel fuel fumes?
Diesel exhaust means carbon monoxide a big no no.
Diesel fuel means a fuel leak.
Either needs to be checked out, like, last week!

Not much carbon monoxide on diesel engines. If it smells like diesel not exhaust let it idle and look for some liquid spraying. a very small leak will smell up the coach.

Yup, as already asked is this a diesel FUEL or EXHAUST small.

If the former, look for signs of a fuel leak.

If the latter, use a strong flashlight and look for signs of black (exhaust) starting at the head to exhaust manifold, manifold to turbo, turbo to down pipe, down pipe, muffler, etc.

As always you guys have given me answers. I'll do a full check tomorrow. I hadn't thought of fuel but you may be onto something. It does smell more like fuel than exhaust. I'll post my findings
Thanks

I had a fuel filter petcock crimp fail a few years ago on the secondary? filter hidden under the intake manifold.  Brand new filter. It was dark so I couldn't see the cloud of atomized fuel behind me.  Luckily it was about 17 degrees. A hot summer night I probably would have barbecued the whole rig.  And yes the bedroom smelled like diesel...for a week or so.

I had a leak in a 98 U295, the 3/8" hose from the injector pump spray fuel against the passenger side of the bed box. Took along time to get rid of the smell.

I checked everything today and no leaks. I think the bedroom window was cracked open on the exhaust side on a 160 mile trip home.  No fuel no exhaust anywhere
