Slide Problems/ Room extension light never stops flashing

On  my 2003 U295, HWH room extension panel yellow light does not stop flashing.  Re- leveled coach and level red light flashes dim and fast. With the main eng on the yellow level system light is illuminated on dash panel along with the alert dinging sound.

When I turn the room extension key on the yellow light does not stop flashing.  Therefore the room will not retract.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks,

Paul

Also, the  aux air  compressor does not feel warm as if it had run at all. Pulled the pressure swith cover off and point are in full contact but compressor not running. Changed 5amp fuse but no change.
Thanks again,

Paul, ascertain that you have power going to the fuse and elsewhere.

It sounds like the vacuum pressure switch might be bad, you can jump those as long as you're certain the air bladder has fully deflated. OR, I had s similar problem and it turned out that the clear bowl that captures moisture at the compressor has a brass check valve that got clogged with rust and small debris which then does not allow the air to fully exhaust and hence your system is tricked into thinking the bladders have not deflated and the yellow light will not go off. Once I cleaned that out everything worked.

Another member posted a similar issue and that's how I fixed mine. The compressor does not run too long during retraction because it is exhausting air and only runs a short while to create a venturi effect.

Thanks Travelin Man and PiButler.  Test indicated no power to compressor. DC breaker tripped on HWH compressor. Reset and that fixed it for now. Not sure what caused it to trip. Thanks again gentlemen.

Yep. HWH bay. My 2003 has a carpeted fiberglass cover with three wing nuts holding it on. You can see the labels for each breaker and reset them without removing the cover. Still not sure why mine tripped. Time will tell I guess. Only had the coach for three weeks.

I have had a slide retraction problem for another reason. Foretravel emergency fix was to use the on board compressor, air line and an air attachment to force air into the slide bladder at the drain location behind the driver wheel. There are 3 valves there and mine is the most outboard valve, the one closest to the outside of the coach. Just had to use this technique again for an unresolved problem as of yet.
