sliding cargo tray (again)

I came across this video of a slide tray installation from Mor Ryde.  This could not be simpler, but my mind went to the earlier advise I received here using bolts that passed through to the exterior of the basement.  In the video, simple wood screws were used - is this sufficient, keeping in mind the leverage created when a weighted tray is pulled out?

IMHO....no.

I think he says you have to "install the 8 bolts down through the floor of your RV', so probably not wood screws.

I hope that guy is at least putting those fasteners (whatever they are) into some substantial frame members, and not just a fiberglass sheet.

He said,"all you need to buy is the bolts that go through the floor of the basement". Although he didn't show putting nuts on the underside.

I should have paid more attention to that last part.  He did not show how he would strengthen the substrate, but that was covered in an earlier post by Brett Wolfe.  I would not be comfortable in drilling through the metal tubing (weaken the "box frame" of the unibody) and if the video covered the other procedure it would be a "bit more" complicated.  Sliding the system in is a good way to match up the frame holes of the slide and drilling pilot holes before removing it to do the real work.  The video isn't really useful to the unsuspecting buyer.
