Fuel leak under coach

I have had the coach at our home to keep it plugged in during our record cold snap. 20F over night. The electric side of the AH has been keeping the bays and interior at 50F.

However, I decided to run the diesel side last night in addition to electric. Today I noticed a diesel puddle under the tank area on the passenger side. Perhaps a liter of fuel that spread out to about 2 sq ft. The fuel tank level is at 3/8ths.

Would/could this be from the old cracked hose issue?

The engine hasn't been running for days. So not sure how a leak could start after being off for so long.

Any ideas from the brain trust?

We do have a fuel hose replacement appointment at Oregon Motorcoach in 2 weeks.

It sounds like it could be an Aqua-hot source if there was no diesel under the coach before you started the Aqua-hot.

I have been having intermittent AH issues where the burner blower turns on but no ignition and the blower continues to run until the diesel switch is turned off.

I do have a new control box on it's way from  Rudy. As he says this is a control box issue.  I would think that fuel would come out the exhaust.

That area is where the drain hole is for the Aqua Hot. I had a fuel leak on the hose going to the burner that I had to put 2 clamps on 180 deg. apart to stop the leak.

Thanks oldguy & craneman. I guess it was my good fortune to have that appointment for a full fuel line replacement. Have been meaning to do that for a while.

OMC is going to do an AH service while they are mucking about under there with the fuel lines.

Find the leak immediately AND clean it up completely.

If diesel gets down in the basement structure, it will dissolve the foam insulation.  It will also trap the diesel so you will have that smell from here forward.

Thanks for that tip Brett.

I'll get a bunch of rags, A garbage bag and do some cleaning. Fortunately, The electric elements are keeping up with the cold and it will warm up in a day or two and stay that way until our appointment at Oregon Motor Coach. In the meantime the diesel switch will remain off.

Update: Went out and crawled into the bay. No diesel smell at all nor evidence of fuel outside the Aqua Hot box. Fuel filter and it's lines were dry.
Pulled the Aqua Hot cover off. Pan was dry. Zero diesel or anything else anywhere.

So color me confused.

When my control unit went bad it was leaking diesel out through the muffler because it was calling for heat but the burner wasn't firing.
