Wet tank - check valve?

Is there typically a check valve on the air dryer line to the wet tank.....possible that marked in the attached photo?
Line 2 on the drawing.  Not sure what the "i" means.

If it is a check valve, anybody have a part number?

Should be 1/2" NPT in and out.  Check the threads on yours to be sure.  Either one (below) will work.
