drivers side docking lights out : 94 U240

Hello all, I have been having an issue with the docking lights.  I bought this rig with the passenger side lights working and the driver's side lights, not working.  I just assumed it was bulbs and bought 4 new LED bulbs.  Dismantled everything, reinstalled, and still not driver's side.  I read on another post that there were two relays that controlled the docking lights but I did not see these relays on the passenger side under the dash.  Are they in another location for this model and year?

May be in 12 volt panel on drivers side in basement bay behind the removable fiberglass panel that holds relays and re settable breakers.

At least on the 1993 U240, the docking light relays ARE under the far left side of the dash (after raising the dash) and well labeled.

I haven't checked the basement yet, but I did find these unlabeled pairs of relays.  Brett, do these look familiar?

Not on the 1993.  There was a big electrical box with all the relays in it-- not mounted separately.

They are not on the passenger side - they are on the driver side (far left end under lift-up dash cover)

Winner winner, chicken dinner!  That was it.  I found relays 50 and 51 off on the left hand side of the dash.  Swapped em around and the driver's side lit up!  So, I'll just replace them both!

While you are at it, get rid of the power hungry incandencent docking lights and replace them with LED that you can leave on for hours without running the battery down. Our old lights would trip the breaker all the time until I replaced them. Almost plug and play as the three mounting holes are very close to working but need a tiny bit of work to align everything. You can wire in two output modes. I chose the high wiring and they really light up everything. Just check ebay as my history does not go back that far.

The LED assembly does not extend very far back so if you want to replumb the terrible air cleaner intake like the late GVs, you can bring a tube across the front bottom of the radiator and make a true 90 up to a couple feet higher intake spot.

These are close to the lights we have: 4" Round Trailer Tail Light 24 LED Chrome Bezel Flange Mount Reverse [2x...

Good point, and that's what started all of this.  I have all of the lights removed (giant hassle!) and replaced them with LED's.  I thought the left side lights were burnt out originally, but when the new ones didn't work that started my hunt for the relays.  Now that I've got them all working, I'll button it up today. 

Does anyone have any thoughts about how to get that third nut/bolt installed on the basement doors up front?  It's blocked by the door on the backside because the light is set in at an angle.
