Looks great. It took me forever to do ours and a lot of cut/burned fingers, etc.

Looks great to me!  Some here don't care for the slick "all white" look, but I like it.  Compared to the physical pain, mess and hassle of doing it yourself, IMO money well spent.

It looks great. Mine is all white and my wife likes the imprint of the old decals so I'm of the hook.

That was a deal $$$...I spent more then 300 hrs on ours, and the coach was already polished.

One fact was there was some deep staining in the gelcoat that had to be deep sanded out.

I truly fear starting to clean and polish my coach. Cut the old motorcade numbers off last night and just cringed at the thought of cleaning, clay baring/ sanding then polish. Brings a whole new meaning to dock smasher. Probably would enjoy more just leaving it alone. What a huge job. $1700 sounds like a deal even more, but they would probably ask me to leave seeing its condition LOL

Scott,

I wish clay baring were in the picture but it was HF jitterbug with water for days.  Our gelcoat is really soft on the front and rear cap but hard as a rock on the rest of the coach body. I had to find the right combination of wet/dry or the scratches would not buff out even with a shop buffer.
It still needs a lot of work. Getting too old and too many other things to do so I will let Mexico do the buffing.

Some years back our coach spent a week in the FOT remodel shop.  For 3 of those days, the next bay neighbor was a stunningly beautiful U240.  The whole exterior was polished gel coat that looked like glass.  The flawless surface was totally without friction.  I decided then and there if I could ever find a shop that could make our coach look like that (at a price we could afford), it was a done deal.  I'm still looking...

A little off topic but it's a decal, just added it to the door.

For those of you close to Puerto Penasco or are planning a vacation there, they will remove and buff entire rig for $400. Wheel polishing is $10 per wheel.
